Hey KOB Fans!! Thanks to all our friends and fans that showed up for the two July 4th weekend shows, at Oak Forest Fest on the 2nd, and Beecher on July 4th. We had an awesome weekend and a great turn out for both USA Birthday celebrations! At Oak Fest, we had the 6-9pm slot, opening for 7th Heaven (a great party band in their own right!), and we had A BLAST. Former Star newspaper journalist Don Stuckly caught the Oak Fest show and posted the following comment on his Facebook site - and I quote;

"KO Bossy has built an exceptionally bountiful playlist. Its experienced musicians can entertain audiences for 3+ hour gigs with mainly Classic (radio airplay) Rock Music and adult contemporary pop -- not an easy task, And for those inclined, KO Bossy offers plenty of dance friendly numbers with engaging vocalists capable of encouraging and energizing dancers of all stripes. Approximately twice the size of a three piece band, KO Bossy delivers music with hearty rhythms, fan favorite classic rock melodies, high quality vocal harmonies and overall tasteful renditions of enduring classic rock & pop songs.

Don, thanks for the kind words, and glad you enjoyed the show. This was defintely one of our favorite shows in recent memory. On the 4th, we had the prime time slot (thanks Greg Szymanski!!) and rocked the place out, with fireworks in between sets, to boot! We hope to return to both festivals next year. They know how to do it right!!

With vacations this month, we are off until August 7th, when we return to action at St. Joes church in Manteno for their auction / benfefit. Please come out and support not only KOB, but also a very worthy cause.
